Recognition for the projects, stories and creative work that have shaped my portfolio. These honors highlight my passion for visual storytelling, strategic communication and bringing ideas to life through media.

Awarded first place nationally in the Photo Story category for my coverage of the 2025 Carolina Cup in the Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Awards. This competition recognizes the best collegiate journalism work across the country, making it one of the most prestigious student journalism honors in the U.S.

I received second place in the Photo Story category (Collegiate Division, Enrollment Over 10,000) from the South Carolina Press Association for a feature package produced by my classmates and I on the 2025 Carolina Cup. The association's annual collegiate contest recognizes outstanding student journalism from colleges and universities across South Carolina, making it a highly respected achievement that highlights excellence in visual storytelling, reporting, and media production

I also received third place in the Sports Photography category (Collegiate Division, Enrollment Over 10,000) from the South Carolina Press Association for a photo taken at the 2025 Carolina Cup. As part of one of South Carolina’s premier collegiate journalism competitions, this award recognizes excellence in capturing impactful moments through visual storytelling.

I am honored to have been apart of a feature photo package that placed third nationally out 3,358 entries in the College Media Association Pinnacle Awards— one of the nation’s most competitive collegiate honors recognizing the best in student journalism, photography, and other multimedia storytelling!! This feature package was about the Carolina Cup.
